About Me

Hi there, I'm Alex -- a design verification engineer currently living on the West Coast. For those unfamiliar, design verification is simulating the functionality of the chips (cpu, gpu, etc) that are in computers. I studied computer engineering and (as evidenced by my job now) steered towards digital hardware. Outside of work I play volleyball, cook, lift, and play pickleball. In some order-ish of the amount of time I dedicate to each.

Which, brings us here. This website will be a subset of $\{\text{things I find useful}\}$ $\cup$ $\{\text{things I find fun}\}$. I chose a blog instead of cooking reels for 2 reasons: 1) because reels take an incredible amount of time to film and edit, and 2) I already watch way too much short-form content.
